Blakemere is home to numerous craft shops and an antiques & collectables emporium. There is a 9-hole Supagolf course. The waterlife & falconry centre has bird of prey flying displays performed between March and September.

Blue Planet Aquarium is home to over 100 living displays including Europe’s largest collection of sharks, Blue Planet Aquarium offers a whole world of underwater discovery.
The Candle-Factory-Tattenhall.   A visitor attraction, which provides the opportunity to partake in a number of craft activities, including candle making, model painting and badge making to name but a few. Retail outlets and cafe also on site.
Backford Belles Jersey Ice Cream Parlour is open 7 days a week (11am to 6pm*) and sells award-winning Ice Cream and Sorbets freshly made on the Farm. There are over 14 flavours in Cones or Tubs (to eat-in or take-away). There are Calves to see.  * Closed on Mondays November to March 
The Cheshire Oaks Shopping Outlet is one the largest and most popular in the North West of the UK.
Ness Botanic Gardens is a wonderful place to visit and offers something for everyone. It is a place to sit and admire the stunning views across the Dee estuary and offers a sanctuary away from the chaos of everyday life. Not only are the gardens beautiful, they also house one of the most interesting plant collections in the country. Owned and managed by the University of Liverpool, science and research are major components of all the work done here in the gardens.

The National Waterways Museum brings together a unique fleet of historic boats with rich collections and archives to tell the story of Britains canals and waterways. The historic docks at Ellesmere Port provide the perfect setting. With its stunning location on the banks of the Mersey and the Manchester Ship Canal, extensive in-door displays, boat trips and historic buildings, the Museum is a great day out where time slows down and history comes to

Delamere Forest is Cheshire's largest area of woodland and is a place for families to let off steam, escape the crowds and find peace in the heart of the forest. Delamere is also a haven for wildlife including the beautiful small tortoiseshell butterfly, greater spotted woodpecker, white faced darter dragonfly, green woodpecker, siskin and southern hawker dragonfly. At Blakemere lake there are nesting black headed gulls that you will be able to see and hear.
